Five days after one of the worst natural disasters in our nation's history, Vice President Dick Cheney remains on vacation at his home outside Jackson, Wyoming. His PR handlers also seem to have failed to work out a clear key message regarding his return. A spokeswoman was quoted as saying, ""He will certainly be coming back. I'm not able to tell you the day right now. I don't have that handy."

Er, it's FRIDAY. People in New Orleans are DYING. Little kids have no food and no water. Marauding gangs have taken to the street, looting and robbing and raping. Dick is fly-fishing. For God's sake, what is the matter with these people?
